Quite a few recipes in this book require ingredients that need to be made ahead of time. With your time in the kitchen being limited now that you have a little one, it is best to pre-make a large batch of certain basics to save you time when you want to prepare a meal. Included in this section are some of the things I have pre-made in my pantry (or freezer).

Also included in this section are some of the nutritional enhancers that can be added to every meal as well as fermented foods… which should be added to every meal!
